Take your time to read.
Something struck me and I picked up my pen to write.
Relaxing and enjoying the comfort of my bed on a glorious weekend with my phone as my companion,
I got a message from a friend and the message read (Hello Josh, I’m really broke and I don’t know if you can help me)
Hmmm…. My heart raced and the temperature of my body immediately increased to the point that it could boil water for eba. (Don’t mind me, *smiles*)
I really wanted to help my friend but signals came from my brain to my tender heart telling me “o boy, u know say u sef dey manage”
But I said to myself, if I fail to touch a life with the little I have, how will I be faithful in much??
Without delay, I made it a point of duty to touch a life on Monday morning.
Behold Monday came….
I went to the bank and transferred a token to my friend…
My friend surprised me and was so grateful to the extent of writing a post of appreciation on facebook and I really felt humbled.
Then I thought within myself and said,
Even the smallest of help could mean a lot to the receiver
So, I decided to write this to my friends
You don’t have to wait until you have much before you can actually touch a life
Even the simplest smile can touch a life
The kindest words can mend a broken heart
The warmest hug can make an insecure person feel safe

A little act of affection/care can restore a damaged soul
Why don’t you take it upon yourself to touch a life everyday?
And remember,
A simple act of caring creates an endless ripple that comes back to you. (The Ripple Effect)
